The Ultimate CES 2024 Guide To The Hottest Parties, Panels And Robots
Paxful

Cruise the home of the future, chat with a refrigerator, play ping pong with a robot, enjoy autonomous rides and party with Ludacris. The world’s most exciting technology show is gearing up to descend on Las Vegas, the week of January 7, with more than 130,000 attendees and 2.3 million net square feet of exhibition space to explore.

Whimsical visions of color-changing cars and self-driving strollers stole the show at CES 2023, but loftier goals abound for CES 2024 with AI attempting to tackle sustainability challenges including clean air, water and food amid a growing labor shortage, wellness for an aging population, and battery range for the electrification of everything.

Now in its 100th year since first launching as a radio conference, CES has become a showcase of global innovation across dozens of industries. The event is massive. If you’re planning on going, you’re going to need this guide.

Show Floor Tour

To begin, download the app or check the website for badge pickup locations at the airport and hotels, bag policy which limits entry to the show floor to two small bags, preferably clear, and the free shuttle schedule.

Binance

Then get to know the interactive show floor map and organize your days by location as it can take considerable time to get from place to place. Booth and room numbers will help you find your way around the three main venues.

Tech East

Tech East is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and showcases smart home, cars and more. If you’re taking the free shuttle, you’re likely to arrive at Central Plaza where you will be greeted with glee by Google which often has thrilling activations like Disney-style rides, bouncy slides and carnival games with prizes. Others in the space for 2024 include Walmart, Kia, Shift Robotics, maker of Moonwalker skate shoes, and Xing Mobility, maker of Miss R. the electric supercar. Expect a party scene.

Central Hall is where the biggest exhibitors dazzle. These include LG (16008), Bosch (17207), Panasonic (17609), Canon (17629), Samsung (19608, 19638) and Sony (21800, 23015, 23024). The show floor opens to much fanfare on Tuesday, January 9 at 10am. To help get oriented, there is a free tour hosted by CES partner Female Quotient that departs 9:30am from room N255 upper level of North Hall and concludes at 12pm when FQ’s speaker series kick off at Aria, To help foster networking for women who comprise only 33% of tech workers, 12% of AI researchers and 2% of venture-backed startup founders, FQ is offering free CES registration codes through January 5.
